As for the 3-piece, you're probably right...I wasn't really paying much attention to that.

And may I suggest you invest in some incandescent orange/pink paint?

Just ordered the EMG-MM5-TW from MB-Music, though they have to get it from the EMG distrubuter (Who have one left in stock) Having to pay £95 for an EMG is really smarting!

This is interesting. I have a close friend with a Pedulla 4 string that is pretty beat up too. He wanted me to fix it up for him, but I'm not going to take on that much work right now. His has a cracked headstock.

The reason they can provide a new logo if you send it to them but not for you yourself is that it's not a decal. I had a Thunderbass ET-5 that I wanted to replace it on and after I went through the whole thing with them as well realized it is silkscreened on. Their finish guy could do it but no decals. I was going to do the same as you and have a waterslide decal made. I traded mine off instead.

Get a pic of the logo, and but some waterslide decal paper. Print your own.

I just realized you could've masked off the headstock face, keeping it black, with the logo, and just stripped/sanded all around it.

Yup! You wouldnt believe how many people have emailed after seeing my results (Which i paid good money for) and wanted me to send them a copy of. You can imagine where i told them to go...

This decal is for my Genuine Pedulla and nothing else, i am not interested in reproducing the decal. The only reason i went with this method is i dont have the $1000's that Pedulla ask in return for a basic refinish not including the cost of shipping the bass to the states.

I don't see anything wrong with a repro decal going on a legit bass. If it was not a Pedulla, then that would not be cool.
