Its going to be a 27Volt system, 2 9 volt batteries in the new cavity, and a single 9 volt in the control cavity.

Beautiful I really like it. I had an LTD with the MMTW and a 40P5 pickup, and it sounded fantastic. Pair that sound with the excellent Pedulla construction, and you sir, have a true beast on your hands.

I thought this thread looked interesting from the title up until I saw the photo with the precious logo chiseled off, but reading that the MM pickup route has been freehanded and is crooked made me so eager read the rest....

Edit: I just saw the results. I am impressed. I am the world's worst luthier. I made a mistake on one of my basses that I have never admitted it to anyone. I like it when people mod a boutique bass.

I have never see it in the "for sale" section on this forum, otherwise it would be mine, i was looking for a Pedulla MVP 5 @ a reasonable price for a looooong time...

Why do people have to murder guitars just follow some pointless idea ?

These instruments were meant to be played. Keeping an instrument in pristine condition is sort of missing the point.

So the point is to beat the crap out of a bass to truly get your moneys worth?

Call me crazy but i like to keep my stuff nice

Instruments should be played & enjoyed but with care. If it happens then so be it but neglect of an instrument is the worst. These instruments might go on to last for hundreds of years (like a Stradivarius). Michael pedulla won't be around forever & it might be nice for future generations to allow them some decent specimens of his work (or any builder).
