It came for free with an amp, and has a 15” speaker. two input jacks. no tag, nothing. possibly homebuilt although it looks sturdy, and very well put together. don’t want to tear apart to see inside.... thanks for checking it out
6 screws to remove the back plate holding the input jacks. Remove that, take a picture of the back of speaker. Flashlight/flash needed. That will be a big help.
Older Hartke cabs had that thick false edge like that. And used those type of corner brackets and carpet. Original grill might been removed. And the car stereo basket added later. Or this was a factory proto type. I bought a bunch of GK prototype cabs back in the day for cheap. Same edge same carpet. But just black painted baffles. Doesn't look like GK or various employee builds ive seen from that shop Anyhoo looks like hartke hardware but Hughes and Ketner , crate and carvin also used carpeted false front cabs like that. If this isn't a actual company model. It could be a prototype or employee build.
Crate was my first guess... could potentially be a careful home-build, all those parts look pretty generic
DIY (look at the mismatched corners for starters, and lack of any labeling on the jack plate), but maybe not homemade. My guess is generic cab from eBay or something similar. If you don't look inside you'll never know definitively, but that may well be true even if you do.
You don't have to "tear it apart". If you simply pop the speaker out, you have a 15" access hole. You can literally stick your head in there and have a look around. Unless, of course, you have a gimongous head.
I'd say Crate (haven't read the other poster's opinions yet)... That gray rat fur is suspect of that brand.
I had an old Hot Cabs 1x15 with gray fur an corners like that... its been a long time, but I believe it had the same grill as well...
