Carvin SB5000 / SB4000 Roll Call...Part 6!

I think that deep orangeburst color from Carvin is my new favorite. Man it's beautiful.
Just got my Carvin SB5000 in today. I won't have a chance to plug it in until tomorrow. The neck feels sweet and it feels like it's top notch quality. The finish is so freaking stunning and the bass is pretty light! Here are some pics..
I know! I'm hoping my new SB5000 will be delivered sometime next week.
I told my wife, when it gets delivered, don't call me at work because I would have to come down with some type of illness and go home early.
Whoa! Beautiful! Mine is due next week and it's configured just like yours, except the flamed finish is honeyburst.
I don't have a way to get an accurate weight on it. When I ordered it, I requested a light piece of alder and this thing feels pretty damn light.
Nice dude, I see you got it with black hardware, how do you like it? I picked gold and it's a little too shiny for me, haha.
Cool man, I'm glad you're digging in. I'm contemplating on returning mine and getting a 4 but I haven't decided yet.
I did the same. But I was lucky enough to make the transition prior to ordering my SB. I love the 4k.

They know these things are killer especially for what you pay. They just went up $100 in the latest catalog (thank God they are only catching on slowly).

In the corner it says take a $100 off. The lised price doesn't show the discounted amount though. I have a feeling they are getting us ready to take it away.But for now it's business as usual. I am 4 weeks away from delivery. Still haven't recieved my card. I did call them to confirm completion date a few weeks ago. Think it's worth calling again on the off chance it is done sooner, or maybe wait another week? I hate waiting. I cut the maple board from the catalog and glued it on the classic white bass so I could have something to look at that looks like my bass. Can't wait to see the BEM board. Everyone's has been looking killer which of course makes the wait harder.
