Okay we played last night in the place with the black cloud real quick almost didn’t play due to the Yankee game, Singer got mad and left owner said it was a go singer came back , woman falls and knocks over the lights they fall and land on my guitar stand and my Fender P hits the floor! Checked during break okay, Drunk takes a header as he walks past the band and lands where you got it he knocks over my Fender P for a second time in the same night what the h*ll! We finish our normal time after the 2 hr delay and they think we should get full pay and we said were here and ready to go @ 9 you made us wait for the game so they pay us the full amount I got home clean and got in bed and hid the covers! I have a video of the second drunk going down I will post later! We play again tonight in Clifton game be a problem this time Yankees lost!

I play bass for Fight the Lion. We're from the DC area, but tomorrow we're packing the van and heading to New Bern, NC to play a benefit show for the band Parmalee.

It's a crazy story - in a nutshell, two guys entered Parmalee's bus after a show, pulled guns, and demanded money. Parmalee's drummer was also packin heat, shots were fired. One bad guy dead, one bad guy seriously injured, but Parmalee's drummer was also seriously injured. He's been slowly recovering, but the band has obviously been sidelined by this incident.

So DC to NC seems like a short trip, but it'll be something like 8 hours in the van, play a show, crash, and 8 hours back to DC to play our Halloween show the next day. It'll be the closest thing to being "on the road" I've ever experienced, but I feel like the Blues Brothers - we have a mission from God. :smug:

So check us out if you'll be around - The New Diamond Club in New Bern, NC on Friday, and then Jammin Java in Vienna, VA on Saturday. Fight the Lion!

Tonight (Thursday) we're going an unplugged acoostik type show downtown form 8:00 to midnight.

This weekend we're at my mostest favorite venue!! Saturday there'e a big Halloween bash (It's been standing room only the last few years at this thing.) I'm going almost naked save for the use of a towel to cover my naughty bits.

I think this is going to be epic!

Show went great I worked on my sound the night before which I felt was a little muddy in the mix so even before the sound check the sound man and I got together to address the situation turns out I wasn't in the crossover one of the buttons got pushed so instead of getting to the subs I was only in the towers I sounded like I was playing the tuba lol I have another show next Sat Carucci in Saddle Brook yeah the place where my P bass went down twice RTS

Playing a halloween party tonight at a new Irish joint in Lebanon, PA. First time we've played the place, so I'm not sure what the crowd will be like. Halloween gigs are always fun no matter what, so it should be a good time!

The Diamond Club rocks, New Bern NC rocks, all the people we met there were awesome. We arrived at the club at 7:30 PM and hit the stage at 1:00 AM - we enjoyed hearing the other bands but man that was a long night. And by the time we ended our set, the bar was closed! It was a fantastic show - then hit the road for Fairfax VA...

And the Halloween show was just a continuation of the same thing. Almost literally - I got 5 hours of sleep in those two days and we played two full throttle shows. Just one loooong super rocking day.

Gotta give credit to the band Irvine from NC. Looking forward to sharing the stage with them again.

My Irish Band 'Bill Grogan's Goat' played devils night at Dick O'Dows up here in the metro detroit area. It was a fantastic show. We all did the the devil horns, suits and red face paint. I got to use my brand new Bass VT pedal, Friggin Sweet Pedal! But three sets make for a long night. I wonder how many of you feel the same way as me. The first 2 sets are fun, its that third one where you earn the money.

Okay we played Carucci's in Saddle Brook,NJ black cloud place. show almost did not first our singer was sick Friday but he got over it worse,our keyboard players son suffers from blood cancer was running a fever when ever that happens we usually have to cancel the show.But the little guy is a fighter and he broke the fever and they check his blood count and he was good. So the show was on. We rocked the place packed house all night long. I will be posting a video soon maybe freebird.

Did the Funk Fest in Felton, CA - our band (Funkranomicon) with Extra Large and the Joint Chiefs. Three bands, each with a slightly different but very funky groove and vibe. No egos, all three bands hung for each others' sets, huge happy dancing crowd.
Our band is newest on the scene (we put the show together to get some exposure to the other bands' crowds) and we went over really well - got a lot of new fans.
All in all, one of those gigs that makes you say "YEAH!", say "YEAH", say "HELL YEAH!"
