Oh wait, that's a strat type pickup in there :O/That pickup, looks like someone was going five string.
Cash America? Don't pay list. Haggle the living daylights out of them. It's how I got a killer deal off a killer instrument. Original price, $750. Final price, $425. The item? An '89 G&L L-2000.Check out what I found at a pawnshop $160. I thought about offering way less for a project but I don’t know how they handle hanggeling, but it would be fun to play with I guess, But it might just have to stay there, I guess could use the neck if anything.

I wouldn’t automatically associate any of those basses with an 80’s US made Peavey. I’m not saying they aren’t better values but they definitely aren’t the same kinda stuff, imo anyway. You can get this kinda stuff all day long for that kind of money that you won't have to wrench on.

I found one similar, but sunburst. All original and not beat up. Had a knob missing. the pawn shop was at $200. I offered $100 & got it for $125. One of the best sounding and playing basses I have, but it's a little heavy.Check out what I found at a pawnshop $160. No, I get it.I wouldn’t automatically associate any of those basses with a 35 year old US made Peavey. I’m not saying they aren’t better values but they definitely aren’t the same kinda stuff, imo anyway.
Do they still sell the pickup for that?I paid 22 bux shipped for a pickguard for my fury 2 years ago. from peavey.
