I didn't mind taking a few knocks if it kept people enjoying themselves. I have my big-boy pants on. I can entertain. Deep down inside, I thought everyone "got" what I was doing.

I'm not calling names. I'm not angry at anyone. It's just gotten to the point where it IS hurtful, because I thought we were all friends here. I only blame myself....no one made me act like that, except me. I own it.

So again, I apologize to everyone who has been concerned, upset, disgusted or whatever negative adjective you would like to come up with for me or, anything I have said here.

I especially want to offer my deepest apology to Sam for any embarrassment, or other trouble this may have caused you. I do love ya to bits, I really do.. but not in the way I have evidently encouraged people,through my post, to believe. You know I am your friend. You are a brilliant bass player and I really believe your future is excellent.
I am sincerely, from the bottom of my heart & soul, so sorry!

So I'm dialing it way back. I'll probably still cast a vote or two, but that's it (and it's always "chick with bass" , BTW).
Please post plenty of pics for Sam, and don't forget you are here to laugh and enjoy each others company. Thanks.

Back to "what's the best bass for metal?" and "can you put a mighty-mite neck on an SX?" threads.:hmm:

Glad you "get it"

It's a big part of who and what I am, as I have to some extant worn women's clothes all my life - What I get from it is happiness, plus, I meet many, many wonderful accepting people, (male, female and trans). The really cool part of is that I get to play the bass dressed, sometimes out in front of a lot of folks - It's one of my life's greatest pleasures to look out and see people smiling at me and my bandmates while we make music. :smug:

Funny you should mention Ed Fuqua. He is a guy I have enormous respect for, and he has razor sharp wit aside from just being a fantastic bassist. Meeting him in person is something I plan to do when I can.

I don't know if you know Petebass from Sydney. If you don't look him up, great guy.

I am not even going to respond to Rockmusician's comment. I won't dignify that comment with an answer. :rolleyes:

To be honest, what are we really supposed to be discussing in these threads? It's coming off as a plea for attention. Seriously, I'm not really sure what I'm supposed to post :/

The Mods were on top of it doing a spectacular job of troll removal. It saved a lot of people from seeing a lot of nasty.

The answer is simple. It's about being who you are. We have more technical and more bass related threads in other sub forums. There is no lack of interesting topics if this one doesn't interest you. I like who I am. I admire talented musicians of all ilks. I also see happiness in self realization. Hope you do too, whatever your musical life is like.

Please tell us about it, I for one, want to know. That's why I am here.
