I'm good with that time frame, too, just putting it out there. I still have no idea where I'm going (yeah, I'm that idiot slowing you down in traffic) but I'll get there. No drinks, got it. So what's the consensus on guitar? is an "open mic" thang happenin? Lots of Q's, I know. I haven't been to a GTG yet, so I dunno what to expect. I do have a 5 string in need of repair that needs a new home, I'll bring it, too.

Where are you coming from?

I think it's more accurately a bass oriented show and tell than a jam session. I'd still like to do the "gear introduction" thing, or at least an informal version of it.

The EBS demo gear won't be part of our little event (that was predicated by confirmed turnout), but there is about a 95% chance that the Reeves Amplification C225 "high gain" mod prototype will make it's first public appearance. It's also got an attenuated transformer fed DI, so that should be fun to play with. Not sure if Bill from Reeves will be able to hang out for Q&A or not.

No sweat, got it. You're about 5 mins from my bank. Sooooo, 10:30? Just bass stuff, q&a, plug and play, have a little grub. Sounds like a good time. I'll be seeing you guys there!

Just finished testing out the Ampro, and it has lost a bit of "sparkle" for the guitar, but overall still sounds like it always has with bass. All I ask is y'all don't laugh at my crap playing LOL!

Well, you DID miss the address, but the time is still being discussed although it seems 10:30-11:00 AM seems to be the general consensus.

Cool, equipment wise, I've got a GK MB115 as my amp, should I bring it or would it be un-necessary?

Bass wise I don't have a lot going on, I have the following...
(downsized a lot from health related issues)
Epiphone Allen Woody Rumblekat
Squier SS Jag
Epiphone EB-0
Ibanez AEB-10 Acoustic
and if anyone wanted to buy any of it, it's all available except the Rumblekat.

I've also got a full size Gator case if anyone is interested in it I can bring it along.

I would love to check out all of those basses especially the Rumblekat.

Found the invite late and needed to take care of the kids this weekend. I'm posting to say I wish I was there and hope to remain on the circulation. I'm building basses 7 days a week trying to finish stuff before the holidays. I've got a couple new ones I would have loved to show off. Hopefully next time.

Back from my first GTG, I had a good time. Thanks to everyone for letting me noodle on your stuff. Thanks for the pizza & pop, L&C, and what a great place you've got there! No volume worries, and plenty of space! Also wanted to say, on a personal note, three things I observed: 1) I need more practice ;) 2) Fearless cabs are fantastic 3) I need some flatwounds.

I'll be doing my best to attend the next one, and hope everyone has a great weekend.
