I have confirmed an alternate location at a local Westside bar if needed!! Food and drinks and a decent size room we can use! If loud and clear falls through pm me so I know how many we have! Also loud and clear even if you dont host it we would love to have you attend!!!

I'm still in. i just need a PM with the location and address for either option. hey should i even bring my bass? nothing special, just a 91 soundgear 4string with p/j actives. and it hasn't been set up in a decade, has a loose volume pot, and needs cleaned and restrung in the worst way lol. but yes, fuzzy the AMPRO is coming, too. :0

Alright. We'll do a scaled down version; pizza instead of buffet, I probably won't tote any of my personal gear down, and I'll cancel the out of town "stay over" visitors.

Attendees; Please send me a list of what you are bringing ASAP so I can get the space and power distro requirements handled.

Any NEW attendees let me know so I order enough pizza!

Also, I have a Tama Star Classic kit set up on a riser and a small (by our standards) FOH that we use for demos in the room we will be using.
Anybody double on drums? Could have some jam potential... If not I may have it taken down.

I'm an early riser, what time should this shindig get started?

Which Westside bar did you make arrangements with Fuzzy?

The Crow's nest said we could do it there if needed. Great live music bar on the back side of Delhi. They have a room behind the bar we could've used. Wouldnt be a great place for 15 or 20 with gear. But would work great for 5 to 10 with gear. They have food and alcohol too.

For basses I'll have my Reverend Decision, My Fretless ESP that is just beast, and either my parts walnut precision or my new vintage modified P5. Not sure yet.

I will bring my Bassman 20, my Ibanez Mikro, and my Kay M1. So I only need power for 1 amp.

My rig is the same configuration that Mark (DukeORock) uses for his upright, although the last time I saw him he was playing with a friend's F215.

I'll have my AMPRO, and a GEB-7, so 2 outlets, but I'll pick up a couple new batteries anyway. If you guys want, I can bring my GB Shuttle 3.0 and pair of 1x10's, too (1 more outlet) but it has been a little neglected since I bought/ built the AMPRO, and it shows.
Also, I kinda suck, but I can sit back behind a kit for a few minutes. Seems like no matter what I start with, I always come back to one of the maybe three beats I know...of course in 4/4. I can also bring my Korg guitar modelling pedal (will need an outlet) if there will be somebody who can do some guitar, the AMPRO works well for guitar, too (at least it DID. I sold the Jensen speakers and have replaced them with some MCM bass drivers-- I'll confirm how it sounds first)

So what time, folks? earlyish works for me, too. Are we having a beer or two? (Not tying one on, but could see knocking back one to get a bit socially lubricated . I'd imagine, L&C, that you'd like to avoid a cooler full of brewskis in the building.

I think I will bring my Parts Express ~$100 cab, because it's cheap and unique(ish) and the Markbass head I use it with.

You are certainly welcome! However, give me advance notice once you decide if you are coming. Regretfully I can't think of a way to just "stop by whenever" at our facility, which is one of the primary reasons I requested advance confirmation and contact info.
Without a receptionist on weekends I can't really leave the front door unlocked, for obvious reasons security is an issue with businesses like ours.

Also, just as a FYI there are cameras everywhere so be careful before picking your nose!

I can probably liberate a box of Duracell 9V's for "just in case" use

We need to come up with a specific time, or at least a time window to get loaded in for reasons specified above. Maybe we should handle that via PM rather than as a poll since it doesn't matter what time those not attending think we should get started!

10:30 - 11:00 works for me but I'm flexible, I'd like to get wrapped up by 5ish at the latest so I can get on with my Saturday evening festivities.
Festivities that will no doubt include copious amounts of alcohol consumed by yours truly.

However... This will need to be an alcohol free GTG.

I'll provide soft drinks, but we absolutely do NOT allow alcohol consumption anywhere on the premises, and neither does our insurance carrier.
Honestly, it's 2013 for God's sake; any non properly licensed business that allows alcohol consumption on their property is leaving themselves wide freekin' open to liability, and in our increasingly litigious society even private residences have been sued successfully by inebriated guests.
I'm sure we've all heard the stories.

Anyway, if it's imperative to be "socially lubricated" for a GTG I think they would need to be held in a bar.

I vote for a happy hour after the GTG wraps up, in fact Midpoint will be going on a few blocks away, and there are hundreds of rockin' bars within a couple of miles of our building.
