Ryan, OT, I love this Lifechurch video from your FS thread! I am Catholic myself, but go to a an old school church a la priest at the altar, etc.
I would love to go to a church with a band like that.. Sadly, the parents and grandparents are too old school.

BTW...I was the first owner and traded it to Chuck for a KBP5 in December.

They never do, at least not the 5 strings. That's why it's an easy blind buy to make, you're almost guaranteed to get your money back if for some out of this world reason you don't dig it.
That's a really good point Yohann, and one that Jimmy made to me when I was thinking about purchasing my LM5. The resale value of AC's in general, but specifically 5 stringers, is great. I felt confident of my purchase and was even surprised when I received the bass and realized that it had superb playability, sound, and looks.
I put a couple new clips up on my youtube channel with various head and cab combinations (based on TBer's requests). The clips are more oriented toward the cab and head tone profiles, but the LM sounds glorious
I tell you what, the Markbass F1 is just MADE for a 70's J with stainless steel roundwounds IMO!

Hearing that LM into the F1/Berg AE rig is giving me serious amp GAS for the first time in a few years!
It sounds good with the TC cabs also (the TC210 is in the most recent clip)... a little less aggressive.. more grind than sizzle with those nice coax tweeters. I dig that combination a lot!
The LM continues to be pretty killin' for 'that tone'.
I believe the M6/9 will be crisper on the high end and deeper on the low end, unless you play with the voicings and EQ... probably more along the lines of the F1, except even wider, maybe with a bit less mid presence (again, without adding any EQ).
I have an M6, RH450, and an F1, but I don't have a way to do vids like this, so I'll see if I can do a quick A/B/C test with an ash/maple J and see what's up.

What I personally found most interesting is the info on what you had to do to each amp to get it to be as directly comparable to the other as possible.
+1 I view the M6/M9 as a 'super F1'... more of everything the F1 has. Amazing heads if you like it quick, big, deep but also very present up top. Of course, the M9 will bury any of these little SMPS heads volume-wise. I don't need the oomph, so luckily don't have to deal with the size and weight.
Am I the ONLY ONE that got excited to see those A.C. short scale 30" basses in the Namm 2010 video?!

extremely punchy things they are.. with a unique tone.. I can see using them in film score material.. and i dig the colors.. Pastels very 60s vibe. Like an old 60s tube radio with a plastic rotary dial.. Yeah i dug them

You guys of the Alleva Coppolo Thread motivated me to buy a Alleva Coppolo LG 5 .( or Maybe LM 5)
Very nice pics , soundclips and now i am too unpatient to wait for a new one ( 10-12 months backorder as of March 2010)
I play allround styles of music : danceclassics to salsa.
Would you say the LM5 or LG 5?
In the first place i am looking for a Alleva Coppolo LG 5 in good shape for a fair price.
Any tips are very much appreciated!

either bass will do any genre of music just fine. the question is what sound do you hear in your head.
