Im 6'1'' on a good back day...on other days maybe 5"11 and if i suck it in.. hahah...
It is full length.. But that body is really working out well for me....Its not quite as small as my beloved sadowsky dinky size, but close..
I cant say enough good things about Jimmy's basses... Well, as AC owners, we know that !
I also went to the original Hipshot brass bridge which really makes it balance well for me..

Jeez Kirk...that thing looks like an oversized Fender Mustang on you in this shot (ok, maybe Mustang is a bit harsh).
But that scale makes a fiver look like a four (especially compared with Jimmy's new bigger bodies) ...

I just got a set of pickups from Jimmy but there is no indication of bridge vs neck. There are a set of numbers on the back (I dont have them infront of me at the moment) I think one is 54S and the other 52N...
I would guess that the N means neck?
Any ideas???

Yes I would guess N is neck and I bet you the poles are spaced narrower on the neck pickup as well.

One should be slightly shorter than the other IIRC.. the shorter one would be for the NECK.... the N and S designations are North/South Magnetic poles IIRC.

Thanks Dan.. That LG is working out real nice... My tech took the photos.... It was a cold night . We were in the French Alps... 80 in the day and in the 40s at night... We went on about 10:30.. And Vari-Lights dont give off much heat.. But there was a full moon hanging in the night sky as you looked out over the crowd. I shot Video from the stage but for some reason i get an Error message when i try to transfer it from my camera... If i get the video off the camera i will post..
I'm sorry I really dont know the size....for one of my more recent ACs I just took it in a bag to my hardware store and fitted the right key there. It was a different size for the truss adjustment at the bottom of the neck as opposed to the headstock.

I checked on my LM5 (late 2010 with a bullet trussrod adjustment at the headstock) and it takes a standard length 5/32 inch Allen. But I'm not sure if this would be the same as on a 1600 - since my neck is one piece maple and I don't think the 1600 has a bullet trussrod.

I dont think the 1600 has bullet TR.. If it is a HEx key at the base of the neck try a 5mm wrench... I just dont remember but that seems to ring a bell.
I posted this in Dan's for sale thread for his RA5 and just wanted to share it with the club.
The tone on these basses is just inspiring, I can't help but smile when I'm playing and it makes me want to play more and more.
In fact last night I was playing in my garage and my wife caught me talking to myself... I paused for a moment and said, "Oh man, this thing is wicked man wicked." (It sounds funnier with my silly attempt at a Jamaican accent, for some reason it seemed fitting at the time). LOL.
Just imagine how silly I felt when my wife said, "Babe, who are you talking to?" and I answered, "Myself" then she goes, "But it sounded like a real conversation." I was stuck.
