Thanks for that response! Great info and great detail. That helps alot!

Do u have the TB RA from this NAMM show!!?? (aggie loaded)

No problem ! I'm sure you will sound good on any wood combo anyways ;)

Yes I have the silver NAMM TB but I had Jimmy swap out the Aggie for his pre. The Aggie did sound really good but I wanted to try the AC pre no matter what . I've had the AC pre in it since the swap. It also had Aggie pups and those are what I have in them now actually...I had Jimmy make me a set of his pups to fit the 18mm and they sound great too so I'm going back and forth. Both sets have good characteristics thats making it hard for me to choose.

Let me know how you like the Fender if you decide to get it...

What was the tonal diff between the AC pre and Aggy pre and between the pickups?

I only got to play the Aggie pre at the show, and after for a little while at the shop, so I couldent really contrast it the way I would like to at the time with what I have here in my enviroment. It sounded great though in this bass....but this bass sounds great period. I liked it, it may have had a touch more mid push ( it had the mid control) even when set flat and active. I know what the AC pre sounded like so thats why I had it swapped, not because anything was wrong with the Aggie. I still have the Aggie so I may try the pre swap again just to make sure.

I just visited the Stax Soul Music Museum in Memphis. Man, I saw James Alexander's (Bar-Kays) and Donald "Duck" Dunn's P-basses. They got me so HYPED for my KBP5!

here are some pics from my show last night at Red Rocks! Mark and Paris from O.A.R. and Kenny from SOJA also joined us and it was sick!
