I just love my LG. Best 60's style J I've ever laid my eyes, ears, or hands on. Lucky to own it. :)

I've been playing the KBP5 the last few days, it's been tucked away while I've been in JLand lately and I have a nice gig where I want a P5 this week. Man the notes just spring off the neck, I'm reminded why I dig his P basses so much.
I also agree that there is something to the wider P neck thing. When I rekindled my affair with the P a handful of years ago it was partly due to wanting to slow/strip down my playing and for me the P sound and feel are a perfect place for that. Teen town is a long way the other side of the tracks!

I am guessing you snagged that Hippie Pre 4 string? That looks awesome...I was pondering on that one and made the decision to bite the bullet and before I could get to it...it was gone...if that is what you got and you EVER decide to part with it...you would be shipping it to the lil' province beside ya!!!

Heads up for the club...my family has had some unexpected medical bills come up lately and I may have to do the unthinkable and sell my LM5. I'm not certain yet, but I wanted to post it here first.

Good luck vision.

This begs a further question. This is the second of our AC brothers who have medical insurance issues. Both seem to play for a living. Does the musicians union offer the options of medical benefits?

Thanks! I work a day gig so I do have insurance. But my son has had a few tests/procedures this year that ended up not being covered so I'm paying out of pocket for that.

Did one last studio session with the LM5 today before shipping it off to it's new owner tomorrow. Sounded good! The producer gave me a rough mix minus the vocals because it's pre-release for a major label. The LM5 is completely dry and up way higher in this mix then is will be in the final.
