Thanks! I work a day gig so I do have insurance. But my son has had a few tests/procedures this year that ended up not being covered so I'm paying out of pocket for that.

Just saw this. I hope everything has turned out fine. Sorry you had to sell this wonderful bass. Hopefully, you can get another one of these days. If you ever need one for a session, I'll meet you half way in Chicago and you can borrow mine any time you want in the meantime.

This bass is super light! I admit, gotta get use to the passive P tone....always was a active owner. This thang really growls like a dungeon dragon! Lol I took the rounds off and put some GHS flats on it. The output is pretty nice also. Funny, it makes me wanna buy an Ampeg rig.

I know the purpose of the bass, but what you guys think about adding color or a clear coat?

Talk to Jimmy, he said with the oil finish it would be hard for paint to stick anyway, so natural it will stay. Also, the RW board is the "jimmy wood."

Thanks guys. This bass smash!!!! Can't wait to try out at church!

Another question, being that it has an oil finish would I need to keep bees wax on it, like a Warwick? Thanks!
