That is the most beautiful 'vintage style' finish I've ever seen. That's a special bass.
I totally agree. It looks so much more vivid than even my real vintage Fenders did. I imagine that when my '62 Jazz left the factory it must have looked a lot like this. The fact that the same guy may have actually painted them both just blows my mind! This is definitely a keeper. It plays even better than it looks if that is possible and I have already gotten a couple of small nicks on her so I imagine she will be reliced a bit before long. Somehow I don't mind it on this one. I think that is the way she is supposed to look. I try to keep them as pristine as possible but I expect this one to age very well no matter what I do. If I were going to pick a centerfold screensaver this bass would be it!

I need to get some better pics of her in some good lighting first though...
