The G&L bridge requires a substantive route into the body.
I wouldn't do that to an AC, myself.

And no, I don't think that would make it sound like a G&L JB. The AC preamp and pickups are very much their own thing.

Given that G&L "saddle lock bridge" is Leo's last invention. Has any body been experimenting using the bridge in any AC 4 string? Will it sound just like JB?

I dont know where he came across it.. Ive actually heard mention of it a few times on this forum, maybe in the last 2 threads.. I read on AC club that it is a hybrid of Braz RW and Amazon RW.. It is supposed retain SOME of the characteristics of Braz RW without the CITES restrictions or $$$$ (although still pretty $$)

I don't mind the non pg on the 60s spacing, but 70s I feel it's missing something! I have to have it!
