That's a nice RA5. I owned it and happy my friend now owns it. A couple other club members have owned that bass too.

I had a top shelf Fodera but, I was always playing with this RA5 so, the butterfly is gone.

Both amazing instruments but, I had "more fun" with the Alleva. The alder/maple with nitro has a warmer tone that you would expect.

It's an all-rounder bass!

Wow, the Laurel Burl looks so much darker. Amazing how lighting and backgrounds affect colour. The RA looks great! Just like professor intended!

Super cool rare finish (I only know of two or three AC's with this paint). It gunks up the Professor's gun, so it's a cleanup ordeal--hence few basses finished in that end up with the Black Sparkle nitro! Absolutely killer.

Figured I need to share some Live action shots of my Alleva Coppolo LG5 Custom Supreme MEGA..

From a show last night with my ex-boss Debbie Gibson. She was in town and called me last week to see if i would come sit in with her. We played a few of the hits we did together, .. .
It was a great time. Great room and crowd.. Alleva killed

Picked up this classic supreme. Thanks Jonno. After numerous try's with some Allevas, this is the one. CNL is my favorite board for sure. Just a little more upper sparkle than DN and some nicer mids. An improved BRW in my opinion. Much clearer and rich tone than the Indian rosewood lg5 I just tried for sure as well. Recommend wood combo for sure!
