Very nice! That's a real unique color. I don't think I've seen that one before.
The grain on the fretboard is nice as well.

It's sitting in Louisville as I type. Oh and fredguy is an old nom de net. I probably should change my user name. On a related note I've never had a nitro bass with a finish this new. I've got a gig Saturday and am thinking about taking the bass and giving her a trial by gig. Are the lacquer finishes cured enough to avoid being sticky after only a couple of weeks? I forgot to ask Jimmy when we last spoke, as he was speaking of the bass as only a proud father can, and he told me he'd be out of the shop for a few days.

Played my LM-5 at a post Derby party in Louisville this weekend. It killed as always!!!!
Duh! I knew that. I've even called you by Dave before. I'll remember from now on.
I don't have my bass yet but hopefully Andrew and the other nitro guys can chime in with their experience.
I was really concerned about the Nitro neck being sticky and Jimmy told me that it wouldn't be...he was right! I always keep a nice cloth (Sadowsky) with me and wipe the neck between sets and it has never been an issue at all for me! I doubt it will bother you at all...Congrats and enjoy! I love mine!!

Just got my second A-C just under the wire ( Jimmy had it shipped the day he left for Cali)........what a piece of work........the LM may be coming much sooner now that specs are finalized.............

Delivered this morning. Initial impressions: visually stunning, the photos of the sunburst don't do it justice. Unplugged acousticly it's extremely resonant, maybe more so than my LG-5. I took it home at lunch and plugged it into my practice setup, LMK2 into an LDS 2x8, for about a half hour. The low notes were all well defined and the higher notes I can best describe as piano like. I finished lunch with a few palm muted thumb picked lines, wow. I just need to swap strings for the broken in flats from my LG-5 and I'll be ready for some old school thumpin'. I'll try and post some quick pics tonight and better pics and a longer review after it gets gigged this weekend.
