Had a chance to speak with Jimmy today. He reinforced my confidence in what he is doing without spending any time 'talking up' his basses. He was very matter of fact in a kind and professional way.

I'm looking forward to trying out an AC a.s.a.p.

That is Jimmy for ya! I have never heard him hype himself or his products nor have I ever heard a derogatory comment from him about another builder, player, person, or thing. He is the real deal and I am happy to see him with such success. He definitely deserves it!

That's just a hella-fied thing for Jimmy to do, man..........He really never ceases to impress me from the day I met him.... you gotta love the guy.....and the basses......to all the guys with basses on the way, congrats.....all that waiting is about to pay off big time......Jimmy, thanks for the black pickguard.........now my bass looks MEAN:mad:..........

I am getting my White LG5 back this week and I am going to call you about sending in my Marcus for your PUPS tomorrow if I can remember to do it. What time is best for something like that? God bless you for doing what you do, you are in a class by yourself in my opinion! All of us here really appreciate what you are doing bro, keep it up!

of your bass. It was between your bass or
Bernie's Ice Blue LG-5.

I really wanted a maple board on this one so
I ordered the RA-5.


Thanks guys... I really don't need another bass.
I have a great Nordy VJ5, a pretty cool 08 Fender
Precision P5 and my wonderfull A-C LM-5.
But that Ice Blue RA-5 on Jimmy's site kept
calling my name.

Anyway, Jimmy said the build time is about 8 months.:help:

Hey Dan,

I guess I have to cool with people ordering copies - my RA was the first one so every other RA is a copy in some respect. I hope you enjoy yours as much as I am enjoying mine. Don't be surprised when you RA puts a rather large dent in the playing time your other basses get.

Ah-ah.............no disrespect, boss man.........It just sounded like you were saying that you came up with the RA concept and not Jimmy, something that would have been news to me.........I was gonna give you serious props for that cause mine kills every single time.............BTW does it take preference over that pretty Limited that you have/had..........?

Good lord, no. I had nothing to do with the RA concept, other than buying one. All props to Jimmy for sure. BTW, I'm not sure what "limited" you are speaking of - someone else's bass I think, I only have the RA5 and KPB5.

And please, no ice blue clubs. We ice blue owners are already aware of our superiority, we don't need no stinkin' club. :hiding:

I think it's great that someone as busy as Jimmy takes the time to come on here and update us. He has always responded promptly to my emails too, which is great.

(BTW Jimmy, if you're reading this, I'm the Limey who is moving to Australia in September ;) )
