It's the model that Jimmy is making exclusively for export.

EUT = European Union & Turkey

The main difference is that the body wood is primavera wood.

There were 2 @ NAMM ... a red 5 with rosewood board & a blue 5 with maple board ...

One went to England & the other to Italy (i think)

I was really diggin' the rosewood board 5.
It reminded me of Bigg Redd (my LG5) with super punchy mids.

Well guys after a few gigs and a session I can honestly say that my LM5 has absolutely blown me away!!!
It really is a perfect rendition of my 77 jazz just with a killer B string...

Yes. I feel the same way about my LM5. Putting all of the vintage and 70s references aside I have truly found MY sound which has not been an easy task throughout the years. Realistically, I will sound like ME regardless of what instrument I'm playing but the LM5 just enhances my sound and brings it out more in the mix. The LM5 is everything I've ever wanted in the mix and at home. I can't wait to try it in the studio.

So I actually dropped by Jimmy's shop this morning to get my bass set up, and I do have to thank Jimmy for the awesome service and being kind enough to work on my bass same day and have it done for me within 2 hours or so when he was already busy with other basses!

Those two basses were still up on the wall and there were 2 other Limited's and 2 P's (I think)...

I tried the Blue LG5 and a different Limited with Spalted top + Bocote Board.

I have to say both basses were amazing, even though they had the aguilar preamps installed in them. Jimmy said the Blue one was spec'd to be exactly like Paul Turners, with a Maple veneer underneath the Braz. board (I thought it was pretty cool) and it did give a bit of clarity to the tone.

If anyone is looking to build an A-C, you should def. consider the Bocote board as well; I really dug the feel of the Bocote on the Limited I tried.

If anyone is considering any of the basses he has available.... GO FOR IT!!! You won't regret it!! They weren't AS good as MINE :hiding:, but that's just me and my opinion is probably just a liiiiiiiiittle biased :p.

Its pretty amazing isn't it. I have my LM5 almost 2 years and I love it more and more. Never had a bass that grows into a better sounding bass with age.
