I love alder and Maple, its the best of both worlds, the sweet and round tone of alder and the snap and punch of a maple fingerboard, blocks and binding is just the icing on the cake.

I first played that one at BPL a few years ago and like it so much I ordered its twin. I love the bass...great tone all around and with nickels ( Fodera VWs) it really took on an even more unique character. I'm glad you posted a pic with the black guard because I was thinking of changing my tort and your pic sealed it.

Yep. Before I placed the order for my LM5 I searched the classifieds just to get an idea of how often they popped up used and couldn't find one thread listing an LM5. I knew I had to order one new because chances are that I wouldn't see one pop up used at all!

While its not a 5, there's a brand new LM4 in the classifieds right now.

Would I be able to order a 5 String AC with a narrower string spacing? 17 - 18 mm at Bridge?

You can still hear how warm and focused the tone is even thru the little phone mic...
