I've got a MIM Fender P, rosewood fingerboard, with an added J pickup at the bridge; the color is "Midnight Wine." With a black pickguard it's just beautiful: I keep it out just to look at it, although I play my LG-5 90% of the time (and my Sadowsky 5 most of the rest). Do I have eccentric taste in bass colors? I wonder why "Midnight Wine" isn't more popular? Thinking about having Jimmy do me an A-C in Midnight Wine. Are there any other A-Cs in a similar color out there? What's his surcharge for non-standard colors?

LOL! Yeah, I figured you weren't gonna' get any breaks, but what the heck, I'd check anyway. :)

Hmmm.... chi-town late jan... man I'd LOVE to see that show if there was any chance I could, but it'd be super hard for me to work out... can you send me a link to the ticket site?

Hey guys,

Here's the latest NAMM report from Jimmy's shop.

Here is Jimmy's set for NAMM next week. My bass is in the middle. All of them have spalted alder bodies with 2-tone sunburst nitrocellulose finish.

The KBP has a Brazilian Rosewood board. The board on the LG4 is an unconfirmed kind of rosewood. This came from Jimmy's desk back in NY. The LG5 is my bass.
