KJUNG where have you been? We missed you.

:D I'm back. I had the wonderful experience of spending 8 days in the beautiful city of Dublin, Ireland. I met up with TBer Curt72 (a wonderful guy and a very good player), and he and his wife made us feel like we were very welcome in that beautiful city.

That being said... it's good to be back home and playing the A-C again!:bassist:

I figured the reasons you stated is why some may shy away from the LM's and LS's. But my Lm does not sound like any 70's fender. It really is a 60's with some added punch. But again I never heard any of his basses sound bad and they are all great. I just put it out to see some of the reasons why many may shy away from the others as many want the 60's fender sound. To me all of Jimmys basses sound 60ish with alittle this and a little that depending on the model.

I've heard that the LM is a real ringer for the late 60s early 70s models.....But then, I heard about the RA basses and got further confused. Anyway I was really looking for something in an alder body and the LG is what Jimmy suggested........

After MUCH thought, I decided to order an incase slim bag(they are close)....Just got it today, it seems like a nice bag and all...is my LG-5 going to fit in it? my other basses do, but for some reason it seems like the headstocks on the ACs look longer(love the headstocks). does anyone know?

Every time I see a post from you, I'm thinking you're going to say that you got your bass! :D

Can't wait to see it!

my LG fits in my gig bag just fine.. it also fits in a regular fender style hard case.. i think you will be OK... let us know..

what do you guys think?

VERY nice! My Sadowsky NYC RV5 is basically the same combination, but in Olympic white. I really like the way the red of the board matches up with the tort guard, and the way the white or olympic white body is picked up by the white in the tort guard, etc. That's a classic color combination and it looks especially good on that bass IMO!
