How do you string your 6 string gauge wise ?
As balanced of a set as I can, I have a Kalium balanced roundwound set of random weird guages to throw on, BUT I'll ultimately build my own Elixir set of 130, 105, 80, 55, 40, 28 - or something close to it.
I run balanced tension D'Addarios that are pretty well balanced. Buy their 4 piece balanced string set, then tack on a single-string ordered .145 B and .032 C

.145 B? Yikes. That's HUGE.
Yup, and it takes to a hipshot drop tuner down to A pretty awesome. But per DA's tension sheet, it's what matched tension-wise. The ball-end is tapered so it fits normal bridges nicely.
I have that balanced set on all my basses now, 4,5, and 6 stringers. I've been happy enough with them I don't even try other string anymore.
