I think that bass was listed on Bass Gear . com. If memory serves me correctly, it was listed at an extremely nice price. I almost emailed Cliff about it, but I already have a few things in the works.

Alienation, do you notice that the DTB strings have a weak D string? They sound great through the piezos of my Rob Allens, but a touch weak through magnetic pickups.

Both the D and the G strings are somewhat weaker sounding due the gauge/metal difference.

One thing I'm debating on is the string height. The action is low on this bass and the neck is pretty much straight. Hence I need the real light touch on the G string or it needs to come up a tad to keep the buzz away.

Interesting. I haven't had any problems with the G, just the D string. I primarily use the piezos, so I didn't really start noticing until I got my 6er. Hopefully LaBella can fix this sooner or later. I really don't have many options for my 6er.
