Thanks for the information - much appreciated, the wait for #177 will be worth it.

Hmm... I wonder what my bass number will be... I think it's #180... now, that's a coincidence... 18(mm) is the string spacing... spooky!

Anyway folks, I digress... here are the latest pictures:

1. The headstock and end of fingerboard takes shape...

2. The neck placed in the body socket, showing the pickup cutout...

Yes, the backshot really does show its immense size!

Thanks for the post, Clement #183 top looks superb. What will be the specs?

Here is the next picture, the tuners will be angled as per #157, ie. towards the nut a-la-Warwick...

can I have your opinions? I am always "dreaming up" basses. I believe these specs would make a wonderful bass. Fretless 6 ebony FB on maple neck, alder body w/black grained ash top and back (black veneer between). This would be a songbird don't you think?
