Here is the specimen of figured redwood that will form the top of my Clement bass (#183). I do appreciate Tom's up-to-the-minute build communications. I wish the Fender Custom Shop did the same!

can I have your opinions? I am always "dreaming up" basses. I believe these specs would make a wonderful bass. Fretless 6 ebony FB on maple neck, alder body w/black grained ash top and back (black veneer between). This would be a songbird don't you think?
