I have never played a double neck ever... But I "need" one... just have one question, how wide does it need to be in between the necks to allow comfortable fretting of chords? I mean, your wrist will "bend out" a little. So there needs to be sufficient space for your hand to move freely without bumping into the lower neck!
But that has to be one of the coolest looking double necks I've ever seen! It doesn't look at massive as most other double necks out there!
Is something like this the next project, Tom??

That was a relatively small bar, so we only put the vocals through the PA, and I play to the volume of the drums. I think the lead guitar was a bit quiet, at least as the mics picked it up (the rhythm guitar is always quiet, but that's how he likes it), but we bass players gotta move some air to get folks on the dance floor!
And Tom, that doubleneck is just sick! As for a case, what are the dimensions of it? You're probably going to have to go for something pretty big, with puzzle piece foam to make a custom fitting space inside.

the body is 18" wide so that is the trouble area.. Off to play!!
SKB makes a pretty wide variety of cases. I'm most familiar with their instrument cases, and I'm sure it would fit in a bigger keyboard case (although it might be pretty long). They also have an industrial division with additional sizes. I'm pretty sure you can custom order them with their "pick and pluck" foam, which will let you customize the size and shape of the interior pocket.
