Well, that's just another sexy bass. Damn, Tom, you build too many GAS-incuding creatures! I am doing some solo projects with live looping, and so far I have been confined to using my fretted bass. Of course a double neck would have been just the right instrument for that endavour. :D

This one isn't going to me (I think... yet...), but maybe one like it? At some point???? :D

Welcome to the club, KDA! That has to be one of the most intense tops I've seen! It's awesome! I really like the look of that bass! :)

Thanks for the invite to the club. Reading these posts are what lead me to Tom Clement to begin with. After having the bass over the weekend I can say it is a fine instrument. Tom really does make a great bass. 214 is amazing sounding, with intense MWAAAHH. And it kicks the hell out of my P-bass.

Agreed. I haven't posted anything about 215 cuz I have been really busy, but so far my impressions are very good. It has great balance, tone, finish, looks - the whole package. I am the type that starts out skeptical, then either grows towards or away from the instrument. In <1 week it has already started feeling very comfortable, natural and effortless to play, and I find myself picking it up all the time to just enjoy that feeling. It just wants to be played!

If you are on the fence about ordering just do it. I got a kick ass bass for the $$.

No pic, it doesn't exist.....;)

You around this weekend? I'm not going away after all.

I got to play M2Roger's two clements tonight, his mahogany 4 string J bass and his new cherry topped 5 string. Both were really impessive. There were definitely some things that weren't all there...little spots here and though. The thing that gave me some (small) concern was that both basses had fret buzz about about the 15th fret. Other than that both basses played and sounded really great. The basses played passive were all there tone wise. The Cherry bass has a preamp for getting a lot of different sounds, but it certainly doesn't need it. Tom really has a good thing going.
