Great! I'm happy for you. Building took 2 months, shipping to Belgium was only 2 days but then she was something about 10 days at the customs (?????). 
Here's some progress shots on my Clement, #227.

oh oh that black limba is beautiful. that's a nice fine grain. and that padauk is also awesome. that is going to be a very good looking bass guitar. 
That looks really nice. Padouk is a great looking wood.

And I'm about to start mine! It won't be quite as fancy as I had in mind from the start (cause I don't have the funds to commit to a double neck)....

Managed to get some time alone with the new Genz Benz and my Clements, wow man - that amp is freakin' LOUD!! But so clear and transparent. The Trace was a decent amp, but it sounded like a Trace (Which isn't a bad thing), but the GB is so 'clean' and I love the tube section. The Tube was always more muddy than warm, but this Genz give a really clear overdrive - I'm loving it.
It needs a fair bit of time invested to get the EQ's and channels balanced but once its set - sounds real nice

I agree, it's very clean and transparent, and the EQ-section has *lots* to deliver. But it takes a little to get used to, and I had to fiddle a little before I got "my" fretless sound back (I've been used to a 15" combo from before). But it's all in there, you just need to tweak a little

So, details shaping up on my new project. Was thinking alot about making this a double-neck.... but economy and a little weariness to custom order something as expensive as that without having a cheaper instrument to "test-drive" first. So a headless six-string this time. Will be black limba body, maple neck, with a birdseye maple fingerboard. Nordstrand Big Fat Stacks and Hipshot hardware....
And this is the shape it will take:

I thought about asking Tom to put in a fourth dummy pot on my passive bass just so I wouldn't have to go with concentric pots if and when I decide to add a pre later on. Not a big fan of concentric pots.
it's official. Took possession of bass #222 today. What a beauty! Played it out tonight - smokin'. All the other bass players dug it, the look, the feel, the sound. So did every one else. Spent half the night answering questions. Sat in with Eliot Zigmund - he dug it. I'm preaching to the choir here but Tom makes a hell of an instrument!
It's always great to hear/read these reviews from the Clement noobies. You are no fledgling to the musical world and these "C" basses are certainly some cream of the crop and getting respect from around the world and with some of the top players in the field. Congrats to you and perhaps a tune or snippet may spring forth on this forum at some time soon.
