Or the solution is really obvious that I overlook it or I'm stupid too. :o
What's the price? A black limba upgrade? Is that when you order a new bass or what? My wife kills me if I order another one. I hear her already: "What's that good for???????". And then I can't even describe her face and the way she'll ask it.
In the meanwhile I'll stay calm and be patient while the customs do their thing with my bass. :spit:
Have a nice weekend everybody! ;)

Sorry for posting off topic, but this just killed me. I've been selling a few things on Ebay, one of which is a Boss GT-6B. This morning I get an email with:

"
I believe this is overpriced. Most things I've looked at say its about a 40 dollar pedal. I would be willing to pay 40 for it. Get back to me.".

I wonder what part of open auction this person doesn't get?

Carry on.

I have to say - I was perhaps guilty of this recently when looking for the Genz Benz Shuttle Max 12 (Which has now safely arrived - can't wait to fire her up!)

There were a couple on a Forum's classifieds page (I wont say where - but it wasn't basschat.co.uk) one - 2 years old for $750, another 6 months but had been modded and probably without warranty for $700 - no shipping

I found one, brand new on Ebay for $890 and shipping to the Lower 48 from a reputable dealer - not off the back of a truck. I pointed this out to the sellers made an offer - and was ignored for days... Guess which one I bought???

It sounds to me like this guy is misinformed or thinks its something different to what it is. Did you reply?

I agree with making an offer on anything where the seller sets the price, but not on an auction style. Especially when the offer is less than what the item is currently going for. :scowl:

No reply sent, don't really know what to say without sounding condescending.

We are taking this off topic!!

I sold my GT6B last year for a hell of a lot more than $40! This guy could be being a plonker (thats bad BTW) or he may think its a single pedal.

But I do agree - If its on Ebay - the mechanism is already there to make an offer!! Not to bitch about what they think is overpriced or not!

When I took the box I was really surprised about the weight. Very light.
I unpacked her (everybody in the house that saw her until now find her very beautiful) , tuned her and played her. She is very sensitive so I've got to adapt my way of playing. I do have to make less effort to have a good tone. The neck is, like a lot of you told, really nice playable, and all the way up to the higher notes. Especially this is very very nice. Never had a bass where the upper region is so easily accessible. I even got the idea that it is easier than on my neck through body bass.
The tone is acoustic like Tom told. It is also possible to make her sing a bit, like a fretless. That's a nice surprise. I didn't expect that. I need to learn to work more with the possibilities and the tones of course.
And indeed she is really comfortable to play when seated.
And great in balance, light on the strap when playing upright. Very nice too.

This is going WAY OT, but something weird happened- Nofretz post #851 at 9:17 AM yesterday comes up as completely blank in the thread-and with no notice of editing.
I only saw the content of the post this morning when I opened my TB email concerning this thread.
