Club Clement (Part 7: Post your basses here)

We're a three-piece band, and then various singers and musicians contributing on different songs. The guitar player and the drummer are great, and we click nicely :)

Bringing my Ebony Lady and the Tundra III - my 6-string ebony-topped Darlene fretted and swamp ash Jon 6-string fretless - see the photo below. I'm running them both through my Genz Benz Shuttle 6.0, with the standard 2x10" cabinet, and I have an extra 1x12" cabinet from TKS Engineering underneath.

This is just a killer setup!

Here's a snapshot from Tuesday's rehearsal. Tonight's the big night, but my two Clements will see me through, I have no doubt. :)

A long time ago, for sure! :-)
The gig went awesome! My 6-string Clement fretless really sang on a couple songs, and the fretted ebony was also shining bright!

Since then, I did receive the new Angel 6-string, a design I've had in my head for a long time and that really turned out nice! Lots of chrome and a retro shape, along the lines of the Thunderbirds. I'm sure John Entwistle would have digged this bass!

Currently, I'm playing lots of looping stuff. I've played tunes like Miles Davis' Tutu on my SnowAngel with loopers and a few effects. I just got the new Angel 4-string TV Jones equipped bass in hand, and it's a great tool for old-school stuff. Not the bass I'm going to be playing the most, but for those retro-jobs it's totally awesome. Big lollipop tuners like the SnowAngel, chrome covered TV Jones Thundertron' pickups, and flatwound TI strings. Fun toy!

I'm in the process of slimming down my collection a little. It's become a little too big, and obviously not every bass is being used quite as much as the others. My chambered Anne might be going to Sweden in the near future, and the double-neck is causing a lot of vieweing activity on the classified ad site I'm using (it's about 3 times as many hits as the next on the list). The basses that are currently seeing the most action is the SnowAngel, the 6-string fretless (swamp ash/maple/bloodwood), the Jazz bass (w/Status Graphite neck) and the first 4-string fretless I got (Ryan). The rest see more sporadic use.

Work has been extremely hectic the last year, so that's the most obvious reason why I've been missing in action for a while. :-)

idk, I've not seen the combination on his gallery or anywhere for that matter. should be amazing,
I'll keep you guys in suspense till pics start flowing. Nice vid bigrob, solid playin!
