Tom - your work is incredible and I appreciate all of the basses you have made for me. I have had Tom build me 3 basses. Of all of the basses I own or have owned, yours are the most comfortable and are always my go-to. They play and sound great. I thank you for all of your efforts in building basses over the years. I wish you all the best in your next chapter!

That was a great bass, and of course inspired that awesome 4-string fretless you built me. Still love the heck out of that bass, and my fretted 4!

Not speaking for Tom but I believe his count on FB was over 570. I can speak for these which I currently play almost every day:

420 - Phoenix - my first from Tom. Also too pretty to play but sounds and feels perfect. Standard PJ

517 - Mike - my daily driver . Fantastic Double-P.

547 - Jumbo Slim - other daily driver MM/P. Weighs a tick over 6 lbs. so easy to play! Currently in my profile pic.

I felt pretty darn smug when I purchased mine (second hand…actually, I am at least the third owner), but now that Tom has turned off the tap I feel even better about my investment.

Wow, I am so sorry to hear this Tom. I have gotten back to playing bass off late and when the inevitable GAS kicked in, I was contemplating maybe reaching out to you early next year for a new bass. Sad to hear you're closing the business. Thank you for all the great work. My best wishes to you on the road ahead.

I just tried each of my basses on a strap while standing and guess what - my 2 Clement bass are the best balanced of all my basses (I have 6). I have a Slim 30" scale and a Kim 34" scale and they both balance beautifully. Do you find your Clements balance well standing on a strap?

Very, very cool! I bet it will be an amazing bass. I am not on FB so would love to see a photo here when you can.
