I have chronic shoulder pain so that long reach can be problematic for me. I think I need to reassess this one and try and get my hands on one. Lucky for me, if it aint a Decade it's something else Lakland

I still have to take pics here in Madrid, but that was my Skyline at Lowend's shop. It's already here with me, strung with flats. I played it yesterday at rehearsal and liked it a lot, compliments from my drummer and guitarist!
It'll be my road companion together with my Jazz 75 RI

Thanks very much! The tones on the site for the Decade are from an older Darkstar model. To my hears...I prefer the ChiSonics. The tone is amazing!
You "ergonomics crybabies" need to play a Reverend with that frakkin chrome bumper on the upper bout!
Or sling on a slab bodied Fender or G&L for a while...
Really, I've played so many different basses it don't hardly matter to me. Unless it's short scale
"The reach" thing with the Decade is due to the short upper horn. If you keep track, you'll see most basses have the upper horn strap button at ~ the 12th fret. It ain't yer arms, it's the design. You could try doing the "early Fender strap button on the back of the headstock" thing...?

I'm going to take some measurements and compare my JO to my Decade, and post them. I feel a slight difference, bit barely anything.

Thanks for the measurements Markus. That doesn't seem to be too much..not enough to bother me, but just to be safe I'm going to get my hands on one before ordering...something I should have done anyway

No problem! Yeah...doesn't seem much to me either. Let me knwo what you think after you've tried one.
Wonder if the guys at Lakland could turn that into the active version of that bass? I'm gassing for a Decade.
