Club Fbass (thread 13)

I really enjoy the FBASS strings...they have great fundamental/ clarity / punch...probably one the best B's I have played....they keep for quite a while...if your into grind/heavy this string is not for you!!!.

My "99" Bn5 has the same split Pbass pickups under the humbucker covers as your main fretted bass has. In many descriptions on the BNs' tone, the true humbuckers post "2000" models, are described as a "polite" Jazz sound. My BN5 is hardly "polite"! It has all the grind,growl as my "L" series Jazz Bass does. Is this one of the reasons you still prefer the older model for your fretted playing? Jim
