I know you are going to love the JJ when you get it, if only because how great they are, but I'm blown away by that BNF. I am just beginning to figure out how to get it to really open up in the mix. I played it church 2 Sundays ago and the tone was amazing. I absolutely love it. I have the daily first world problem of trying to decide which one gets played at the next service.

The tone on that BNF6 is just amazing. I loved using the neck pick up to carry most of the weight and then blending some of the bridge pup to add a touch of bite. My intonation was dreadful though. It was tough to admit fretless is not my bag and give her up. It makes me so happy that someone who can really get the most out of her is fully appreciating her.
Can't wait for jj to come home.

As fun as the custom online builder is, The prices listed there are out of date and incorrect. Not saying your dream build still won’t be very expensive, but the only way currently to accurately know is to contact Marcel directly.

Ya it is fun and I realize those prices aren't necessarily accurate. Marcel treats me so well. Better and better with each build, but even so the prices are in US $. I live in Canada. Everything is basically 35% more up here. Fancy tops and such are just out of my price range.

Oh man, those 1 piece bodies are rare and sweet. Those guys do such a great job of grain matching, but the 1 piece body has a vibe of its own!

VF series is 34” for 4/5 strings. The vf6 is 34.5 I believe.

I posted this years ago and I am still rockin' both of these. I have since acquired a few more and I'm a HUGE fan of the VF's but these never seem to leave the rotation.

If so, what is a GFC, how does it differ from a BN? What year were they produced?
