It didn't for me, I didn't have to make any bridge adjustments, just a slight tweak on the truss rod. At the time it really surprised me. I put it down to tension and/or flexibility differences.
Was it EXACTLY the same as the taper wounds on the B string? Not quite but very close... Did it make a significant difference that made me think I should get the bridge adjusted? No...
I know that reading this objectively you'd think, that can't be right, or that I'm not very sensitive to action height etc., but that's not the case. Somehow it just worked...
At roughly $140 for a 6 string set of TI Jazz Bass flats it's a gamble of course, and it may not be the same for your AC...

Maybe I have it missed in someway, is the bridge adjustable?
The bridge on an AC is adjustable with the help of someone who knows what they're doing, but it's not adjustable like a 'normal' bass. You can't tweak it yourself, BUT I've never needed to either.
Having owned two ACs over the last 20 years or so, surprisingly this has not been an issue for me. I have had the bridge adjusted once on both ACs, by the F Bass approved local dealer (Sleek Elite in my case), after which they were perfect.
The only minor tweaking necessary has been the truss rod, twice a year due to seasonal changes.

Like damn, one of the most beautiful Fs I have ever seen. Just stunning.So I already have a number in the F club... but I had left it.
Now I am back with this BN5 Studio. It is from the first run of Studios in the early 2000's. Marcel Furlanetto says it is a 'rare bird' in the F history, with only 2 Black Ceruse Studio in existance.
I do not have the regular BN5 to compare, but I really dig the Studio.

I forgot how great to deal with Marcel is. I had a dead string in a new pack and emailed him and he responded within minutes (and of course helped me resolve my issue)! Such good customer service.

Your pick up covers still look brand new. I'm getting a little wear in a couple spots where the strings rub up against them and take the paint off.
The secret is to rarely play it and leave it hang on the wall
I’ve sadly been guilty of this, usually just grab my Lakland as it’s the bass I’m most used to. Been trying to be more conscious of playing the BN5 more, and take it out of the house more than twice in 3 years

When I see things like Pale Moon Ebony 6’s and trans white BN5 with bloodwood accents, I am amazed with the talent and artistry displayed by this team of artists.
While this isn’t the most blinged out bass, it is classically gorgeous and one of the smoothest playing basses I’ve ever touched. The Hale blue is satiny and the roasted maple fretboard/neck is just buttery. I haven’t even gotten back home yet, but here are a few photos Donovan shared with me.
