Anyone have a wiring diagram for the BN series? I'm having some finishing work done on the BN4 and the pre was removed. I took photos beforehand, but I would feel more comfortable putting it back together if I had a schematic as well. I checked the website, but didn't find anything.

Not sure when I first became aware of F, many many moons ago though! I still think after all these years the BN has the sexyest body in the bass biz!

I would have to give up numbers 1, 2 and 3 to get one;
and I only own 3! Don't know if I give up number one; it's been with me for 26 years. Number three a couple years longer than that; I would give up. And number two only a month, I would give up.

Got so much expectation from that, especially about playability, i tested some nice BN4 and the comfort was great (that's why i choose for a BN neck on a VF body) the strings so smooth and the neck superfast!! Also the tone was fantastic, and very eclectic!! We'll see how it comes out!!!

Funny you should mention that about the headstock. I'm generally not a fan of matching headstocks with maple boards, so I had Pat take care of that as well.

Funny, the only site I have trouble seeing videos on is TB (Safari on Mac also). I am running an extension called Disconnect, if I disable it and reload a page or simply allow Google under the Content option then I can see the videos again, but this also allows Google tracking

After much deliberation and lots of A/B comparisons, the keeper is going to be this bass. Indian Rosewood top, Alder body, Swamp Ash heel block, 5 pc Ash neck, Roasted Maple f/b

Many thanks to George and Marcel for their assistance on this build. The BN5 surpassed all of our lofty expectations. The Koa cap on the heel block was the icing on the cake. Bravo!

A number please, as I'd like to be included on the F Bass roster too.
