Not true in my case. Not enough of the screw rises above the body, even with the PG off. I'd take a photo but I can't be bothered to remove 11 screws right now!
Oh yeah I’ve got that extra route. But my bass doesn’t actually need it because enough of the screw would be exposed over the body anyways. I figured the paint can opener works on most bases even without the route, but I guess you’ll just have to check and see on each bass.
I just googled “Moollon truss” pics, and I could see that some without the route will work and some won’t.
The right string makes all the difference.
La Bella Low Tension Flats make my PV come alive. It’s just an ok bass with rounds. With the LTF it’s my #1.

I never send a base packing until I’ve tried quite a few different string options.
TI’s work on some of my basses and don’t on others.
For sure! Chromes worked great on my fender P but not my Moollon p. TI’s work great on my Moollon P but not my Fender P. I used to think I only liked one type of string, but I was basing that off the one bass I owned (still own it and it still uses those strings). Now I let each bass tell me which string works best for that instrument.
I always say MOO-lawn, and that’s what I usually hear but I don’t know if I’ve heard the Korean pronunciation.

I always say “Moo-lawn” but I have no idea if that’s correct.
One of my long-time saxophone band members was born in Seoul and says Moollon roughly translates to something like, “of course” or, “the one” or, “obvious choice.”
I wonder if @Ultradust would be able to help with pronunciation and definition.

Was a shame that our last NAMM show was a year before the one in which the fellow walked around and kindly asking companies how they themselves pronounced their names. But to be sure, when the majority of folks we've met have said say "moo-lawn", they're not too far off, and even the current Revised Romanzation of Korean spelling hints this in 물론 being spelled mullon. Besides, email inquiries featuring anything from Moolon to Malone or Marlon (and at least one "Moron") have happened in the past, so we're good. The "of course" or "it is to be understood that..." meaning is correct, and the word behaves mostly like an adverb when used in sentences.
The closest thing to Korean pronunciation would be a general North American English pronunciation of [MOOL + lone] with (first syllable emphasis, like most Korean words), as long as your tongue is kept on the roof of its mouth between syllables. this is why (2nd syllable vowel pronunciation aside) the French moulin isn't very far off at all. This all has to due with the diverse pronunciation of the Korean consonant [ㄹ] which has no less than three ways of saying it, depending on its position in a word/syllable...one reason why Koreans have trouble with R/L, yet it's not an arbitrary confusion as on might think: one consonant has specific roles of sounds in words.
I've written a few mini-treatises on the [ㄹ] consonant that can be found on Quora, although I wouldn't bore myself with reading it if not interested in the language, being of the hardest for us English speakers to pick up. Invalid Link Removed

And much appreciated, sir! YJ is beyond busy but is back in good mental/physical health despite the slow build progress recovery after last Christmastime's near-collapse of everything. Happy to report that he is in good spirits and mostly unhindered, and although I ask him about every fortnight if he has a PSA for all the patiently waiting customers, he's been saying "not right now, just doing my best to catch up".
Nakyung has made excellent recovery after pancreatic cancer bit eight months back and missing a few bits here and there, and we're grateful that life is altogether fairly normal as such. She's been a proper champ through all the monthly shots and ongoing pills, and is both keeping positive and taking good care. Grateful for every day.

It's here! About the easiest set up I've ever had to do. Swapped out a drop d tuner for the std one and changed the pickguard and threw some labella's on it! Wow what an instrument the hype is real. The foam under the pickups may be not as springy as it should be and I can't adjust the height to well. And the pickguard may be cut slightly too thin for the pickups but not a hard fix! Can play tomm once the kids are awak and really dig in
