Could very well be. Lighting really seems to make Desert Sand look like grey putty or creamy Olympic white.

Ha, mine's from 2009! I should just update that with a pic of me with my Moollon, since it's my favorite bass I've ever owned as opposed to my least favorite.

Yep! Looks like grey putty to me. Still uncertain if I like that look or not. Might go the route of getting an Ice Blue Metallic finish instead.
