Club Sadowsky!!!

:bassist:Ups dropped this off today. Sold my 24 fret and got this from rwider. I spell relief SADOWSKY. Gas free... at least for a while.

I've gradually gone from being against pickguards on fancy tops to grudgingly appreciating them on flame or quilt. too many great looking basses made that way.

Which pups are in that axe? Be nice to hear it--now that P.Bass has started with the soundfiles :D

I'm still a rookie w/ this preamp & it's hot signal so this is basically experimentation. The flats require more treble boost for recording than live.

This is a new file to replace the 1st one which was over compressed. Much better.(No comp)
Kenny Wayne Shepherd - "Blue On Black"
PJ controls: Pan @ detent (PJ) , VTC full up , Preamp bass boost @ 50% , treble boost @ 60%. Finger style behind P pup.

This is a change of pace
Eagles - "I Can't Tell You Why" (Y'all might know the singer )
PJ controls: Pan @ detent (PJ) , VTC full up , Preamp bass boost @ approx 25% , treble boost @ 50%. Finger style over P pup.

great job, Blair. that bass would sound great with some stainless Steel strings, but being the guy with such a poor taste that I am, I love it with flats :D:D:D.

keep 'em coming.

This has single coils with VTC. I haven't had much time in the last two days, but I think this will be much better for me than my old 24 fret 5. The shape of the neck is not as flat from front to back, and the maple board seems brighter/quicker than morado. I'm lookin' forward to my gigs this weekend.
