Hey fellas,
Today was a great day when I got the email saying "Delivered." However, when I pulled my new (to me) Sadowsky Metro MV5 out of the case I noticed that I did NOT have VTC. The bass was advertised as having it. It was made in 2008 according to the serial number. My question is, when did VTC begin to be offered as standard?
Thanks!
I'm betting on J - but either way that's gonna be a sweet bass...
09' if my memory serves me correct.

Thanks!
...but, hmpf! Decisions, decisions. Now I gotta decide on return vs. not return vs. see what they'll do to make it right since it was advertised WITH VTC.
And, I was all excited to join the club![]()

Smokin' like that is way too harmful!!! haha![]()
Thanks for your responses and my apologies for rollin' up in the club pre-pics and pre-number but I thought the knowledge would be best found here.
What would be fair to ask for back? What's Sadowsky charge for the kit AND install? Did I read $150 somewhere?
A special thanks to a good friend...

I've never done any home recording until tonight. I'd like to thank folks here, especially Ken Jung, for recommending the Zoom Q3 video recorder. I ordered one on Monday, it arrived today, and was easy as heck to set up.
Soooo, here's my first video. Lighting is crappy and my playing isn't tight, but it's a little something for those of you who've wanted to hear my Sadowsky MM5.

Dammit Ken, JUST when I thought that my PJ5 had everything I needed!!!!! Seriously cool tone there. Nice line.
But yeah, I absolutely love the tone of Whitey. The tone gets even more Ray-like when I bump treble and bass. I'll set some time aside to record some knob turning, and also use my Ampeg or SansAmp rigs so I can dial in the dirt that I prefer. Naaah, YOUR playing is cool... I'm just noodling around with Stevie Wonder's "Superstition".But yeah, I absolutely love the tone of Whitey. The tone gets even more Ray-like when I bump treble and bass. And Blair, I'll get some videos of Red, too. I used Red (strung with Chromes) at last weekend's R&B gig, and the soundman said it was my best tone ever!
Which body shape did you decide on Rob?
