Club Sadowsky!!!

This idea of the whole word coming to end may have some merit. I have been very intersested lately in the idea of finding myself a FOUR STRING Sadowsky!!! I haven't had a four in about 5-6 years (except my DB of course) but the idea seems really appealing for some reason.

It would be a #2 bass, but that's OK. Any bass right now is a #2.

Funny you say that, i was at a sam ash plugging in my VALENTI on different heads and ran into a bass player that plays six strings and said the same thing, he is jonesing for a four banger, thats why i wont sell my fours...LOL!

Everyone wants to play a Sadowsky!!!

Q: How did you guys & gals get to know of Sadowsky Guitars?

Gosh...they've been in my head so long it's hard for me to say where they came from...old Bass Player mags maybe?
I never played one til I met folks from here, then I hadda buy one. Or four.
Something like that.

Thought I'd pose a question that seemed mildly interesting to me at least;

Phil Maneri (Uncletoad, here, and proprietor of the Fifth Avenue Fretshop) had one briefly back in the early to mid '90s, and I fell in love with it at the first note. :cool:

A: Newsted on Cunning Stunts. Loved that bass sound.

I heard about them here from you guys. Went down to LA and stumbled upon a UV Metro. That sound was stuck in my head for a year before I ordered one. I just received my first SADOWSKY yesterday. It's awesome! Thanks to all of you guys here in the Sad club for helping me make such a great decision.

I can't even begin to remember how I found out about Sadowsky's, but I definitely knew about them in the early '90's. Back then I was not a "J" or "P" bass guy, wouldn't touch them....I was really into this other builder who was out of Brooklyn...strictly a Spector man (the older ones, not the Kramer era).

It was definitely Talkbass that lit a fire under me to seek out and play Sadowsky's...and its love. BTW, as of right now, all I own are J basses...go figure?
