May I introduce to you..... Sexie Sadie
Reference point: I've been playing an '05 Lakland Skyline DJ4 a little over 5 yrs. I've been playing passive over 20yrs (it's all I know). She went through an Aggie DB750/Berg NV610 and here's what I learned at her first rehearsal...(bare with me and my lack of audio-phile voacabulary)
Her tone as I can best describe was "authoritive and gutteral." The pre-amp is absolutely wonderful, barely touched her..a bit of a bass boost was all I needed. She cut cut through 2 guitars and drums and sat very well in the mix. All members of the band heard the audible difference. My drummer upon my arrival asked me prior to plugging in .."so what does a $3000 bass sound like?" by rehearsal's end he was very impressed! Me? well, you've all been there, I'm blown away. I'm a now a Sadowsky owner/player and I can't be happier.
ROGER...John Dimaggio (formerly of Bass Alone) sends his regards. I had him adjust the neck...she needed a little loving after making the trip from Massachusetts to San Diego, CA
Nice to OFFICIALLY be part of "The Club"! Sadowsky is everything you fine folks swore by! Now I'm swearing
