Club Sadowsky!!!

A shot from the shop.(click it). I mean-I can hear a groove just LOOKIN' at this. Thanks Kevin. They say you can't take it with you when ya leave. Well - I'm gonna see what I can work out with this one. :D

Any way you look at it, you can hear that groove loud and clear!

Once again, that bass is just beautiful on a whole 'nother level - even amongst a thread full of beauties.

Blair, the player's view is awesome on that sweet P-J! Sweet grain!!!

Thank y'all. It just keeps getting better with acclimation too.(2 months in)
The flats are breakin' in nicely. I'm getting comfy with that hot preamp. Me & my babe have learned each others personality. The lacquer on the neck has developed a nice glide. ( used a "scotchbrite" pad on it a few times). For a lifelong P player that Sadowsky P neck is about as good as it gets! I still can't wrap my head around that astonishing piece of Mad' RW. Other than carving my initials on the back, it is still in new condition.

I mostly play bar gigs, including my share of divey ones. In short, Sadowsky plus Bergantino is my tone heaven: if I wouldn't bring that gear to a gig, then I wouldn't bring myself either! And thanks for the link to your HZ vids... great stuff as always. :)

Why thank you!

Yeah, stadium or hole-in-the-wall dive, it's all just a gig and I bring the same quality gear! Not that I've ever played a stadium. :p

Speaking of artist videos, how you bin makin' out with your zoom Ken? Still waiting for Red to show up on a clip.:bassist:

I've been too distracted by the photos you've been posting of your most excellent P-bass. :ninja:

Seriously: I've been doing hard rock gigs lately, and I wouldn't feel comfortable using flats with them. But I have a couple of R&B gigs coming up in March, and I'll bring the Zoom!

Ernie ball is correct - I use an old Novation bass station as well so sometimes I like to be able to sling the bass behind me in confidence and those EB ones are pretty industrial. It was only recently that I realised the original strap buttons were dunlop compatible...doh.

Thanks for the kind comments, I'm far from worthy of the bass. Doesn't stop me appreciating the quality of craftsmanship or the customer service though :)
