Club Sadowsky!!!

So, how light can a Sadowsky be made???
I ask because I have a labral tear in my left shoulder and pretty much any bass at this point hurts like hell to play.

we'll see how things look over the next few weeks/dr. visits, but as of now, playing standing up with my bass strapped on after a few songs, I'm hurtin'!

Sucks getting older! LOL!!!

HI

LOL. Thanx. Pretty simple tune. I had done a scratch track that was much busier a few days before but thought this sounded tighter. Our drummer obviously doesnt believe in "space". LOL. Doesnt leave much room for bass playing so I did the best I could

Whoo! This is how I like it.
Solid bottom and a mid/top that comes through.
With my PJ4 I seem to fight the top a lot, I even lowered the J pup a tad. Markbass controls help with the VTC area too so it's easy enough to do.

If I sound like this I'll be well-pleased!

There are a lot of sub 8 lb Sadowskys out there. My 24-5 is well under 8.

Although I'm not certain he can guarantee weight. I'm sure he'd do all he could, and of course you'd have the seven day return, but it is wood. It varies. I don't think he could promise you a seven pound bass.

One trend I do see hold is the 24 fretters tend to run lighter than the vintage line.

Labral tears suck. I had one in each shoulder. Get it fixed as they don't fix themselves and only get worse. It's worth it.

I have a Standard 4 that weighs in at 7.35lbs. Basically feels like nothing. Even after a 90 minute set!

Keeping the weight thing involved, that bass you see in my new Avatar NINO built that for me and we weighed it and it weighs 7 1/2 pounds, i know its a 4 string but both he and i were pleasantly surprised, so you can get something light built that will help you and your shoulders out.
