I'm not a fan of those pickups, but MAN is that a beautiful instrument!

I can't decide if I want to stick with the vintage look or go with the modern (no PG or control plate -- to show off the burl). I guess I'm inclined to stick with it as it is, but it does seem a shame to cover up the wood.

Yeah, this one just looks fabulous as-is. It would look great without the pg as well. If I had extra cash, I'd order one with Nordies.

Funny you should mention. Single coils going in this bad boy as I type this. Trial will be on a festival stage on Thursday through an SVT. Yeah Baby!
