Club Sadowsky!!!

So i gave my Sister and her family an Xmas shopping list.. :D ... if they have time to go to Roger's shop. They said Thursday would be the only day they could go there....on their way to Boston as part of their trek. My nephew is visiting theatre colleges in the area...and yeah, he plays bass as a hobby.

He'll be converted soon enough... :)

Speaking of converts... I'm selling my other basses now. The Metro HPJ currently meets all of my needs and I have no desire to even touch my others. With child #3 on the way I have to make room for the new nursery (my old music room) and I didn't think twice about selling my Fender and Ben Lindsey custom... as well as a couple of cabs. As a guy that used to go thru a lot of different basses that says to me that Roger and his crew really makes a quality product.
After all the basses and amps and cabs, this is all that keeps me satisfied at the moment.

Thanks Roger.

Eventually I might look into buying a 5 string. Is there much difference in the necks (width, thickness, feel) between the Metro Modern 5 and the UV70 5s?

I'm doing the same thing...selling an old Fender J and a Ric as we speak.

I just visited the shop this morning to mess around with some basses & to go over my custom NYC build and I must say - this bass has to be seen in person! Its crazy amazing!!!

The photo's do not do bass justice at all. The nitro checking and aging is just awsome! Every thing on this instruments, even down to the pickup cover screws are aged. Amazing!

In my mind, that's just what a J bass looks like.
Perfect.

Never been into "aging" but good gravy that is hot.

Wow.
