I pulled the trigger on this from Atlanta Bass Gallery yesterday and it should be in my hands by Friday. I already ordered a white pearloid pickguard from Sadowsky...I just think that will finish it off. I'm a sucker for blocks....

I was changing the strings on my Metro UV70-5 and noticed that my camera and tripod were still upstairs, so I snapped a quick pic of the pau ferro fretboard.

Should have taken the pic on a white background, but you can get the idea of how cool the grain is.
Morado = pau ferro.
Pau ferro means "iron wood" in portuguese.

I'll play. Got my baby a little over a month ago and can't get enough of my RV5! I was ecstatic when I saw the 59 burst on her. Definitely a keeper! Oh and can i get a number too?
