Club Sadowsky!!!

I may of missed this somewhere and sorry if that's the case, but, can someone tell me why the word "Guitars" has been dropped off the headstock on "some" of the NYC instruments?

Just interested? :)

Cheers!

Yeah, looks like the headstock decal has been changed, as has the placement.

I'd asked if anyone knew whether the Metros have an altered headstock as well, but nobody seems to know.

To me, the pearloids look totally "period wrong" to me on that bass.
Which is why I vote for parchment first.

Well, the bass will have a master grade flame maple board, which is also "period incorrect". :) But the figured board is why I would not choose a "figured pickguard" (pearloid): too much bling.

So, I vote for 1) mint, 2) parchment, 3) black. I don't like tort with shoreline gold.

Well, At least the photographer got the important part in the photo.:D.

Guy, how is that Jazz conversion working out?

As soon as I saw Roger's announcement of the new inboard, I scored a Shoreline Gold 96 Deluxe and started install couple nights ago. Wires to the jack are about 1 1/2" short, which has me slowed down. Doing it in off hours which is why it's taking so darn long.

I had mine done professionally. You are correct, they are too short. Roger is aware of the issue now. I have done it on a 96 and a 97 deluxe (with the Suhr pickups) and they sound GREAT!!
