I am just totally in lust with this bass. Absolutely perfect. Congrats and kudos on the color scheme.
Roger mentioned he has about 4 variations on the Shoreline Gold color. Is there any list or color chart anywhere? I'm interested in which variation would lean more toward the bronze/copper spectrum vs the silver.

That bass gives me butterflies. Bass12's does the same thing to me, so I know what I'm talking about, here. The only problem is that now, if I ever get the $ together, my next 5 string will be a bald-faced copy of *two* TBers basses.
Today is my first gig across a provincial border with my still-unnamed spalted monster. We're in Ottawa for a party gig sponsored by the St Ambroise brewery. I promised myself I wouldn't send Roger a gushing email until I'd had the bass for a year and really gotten to know it, and the year is coming up soon, so I've been using the Sadowsky exclusively lately. I'd originally seen it as a Montreal-only bass because flying with it would be nerve-wracking (my Fender P came to the Maritimes last year, and my former Godin came to Alberta before that). But Ottawa is a drive, not a flight, so... Well, you know...
That looks awesome! Is the guard white or parchment? Looks great! I'm wondering which pickguard would look better with MOP blocks: white, parchment, or MOP?

The flame JJ truly looks much better in person. When I get home from work and walk into my bass / practice room, my eyes go straight to it and I literally smile. Just a stunning bright and eye catching bass. I always had a soft-spot when I saw something similar in person at Bass Player Live once. It was the same look, but quilt maple and I literally couldn't stop looking at it. Nice contrast to the other, more vintage inspired builds.
The Shoreline build has a parchment guard on it, Brazilian board w/ Blocks.
